Born and educated in England, Jill Amadio has written books that include Help! I've Hired a Lawyer, The Gloria Balaban Story, Günther Rall: Luftwaffe Ace and NATO General, My Vagabond Lover: An Intimate Portrait of Rudy Vallee, and others.

An international award-winning journalist, she is a monthly columnist for Entrepreneur magazine. She worked for the Sunday Dispatch/Daily Mail in London, for the Spanish-American Courier in Madrid, and was lifestyles editor of the Bangkok Post while residing in Europe, South America, and South-East Asia.

In the US, Amadio was a reporter for Gannett Newspapers in New York and an investigative reporter for the Connecticut Sunday Herald. She has also written for Conde Nast Publications, the Metropolitan Business Journal, Arizona Driver, Air Classics, and www.thecarconnection.com. She has covered sports, aviation, film, theater, health care, and the automotive industry. Her syndicated articles have appeared in the Washington Times, Houston Chronicle, Newsday, the Los Angeles Daily News, and several other publications.

Jill Amadio has been a speaker and panelist at writers' conferences, and has given workshops on how to write a biography, how to write a true crime, and how to write a book proposal. She has also worked as a freelance public relations consultant for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Land Rover, the British Royal Mint, the Heritage Foundation, Thermacor Technology, and the Champlin Fighter Plane Museum.

She is a member of the Authors Guild, American Society of Journalists and Authors, Mystery Writers of America, and a member of the Non-Fiction Advisory Board at California State University, Fullerton.
